If we come together across our differences, we can push our elected officials to pass a paid sick time for every working family in our city. Making sure no mother or father has to choose between a paycheck and the health of their family would help ensure all Bloomington families – Black, brown or white – have what we need to take care of ourselves and our families. But in order to win on these issues, we need to make sure to elect candidates who we can work with to pass these progressive policies.
On Tuesday, November 5th, Bloomington has a chance vote for leaders who will work with us to make these changes possible. Not sure where you vote? Find your voting location HERE.
If you want to help make Bloomington a place where we all can get ahead, vote Tim Busse for Mayor and Jenna Carter for City Council At-Large.
Both candidates were endorsed by SEIU (the healthcare workers, school employees and building services union) and CURE (a local group fighting for economic, social and racial justice in our communities) as the candidates most ready to listen to our concerns.
